We recently had our roof replaced by Carlson Exteriors and we are so pleased. The estimate through the clean-up was done professionally and on time. The crew did an excellent job and cleaned up all of the mess that comes with a new roof - so that we did not even know they had been there. We would highly recommend their company to anyone who needs their services.

Carlson recently repaired my roof after another local company made my small leak worse with their “repair”. I should have used Carlson to begin with and learned my lesson! They were prompt, friendly and reasonable. They have all my future business.

We are building a new house and were needing to decide who would be doing our exterior work. After talking with Caleb and Kristin, I knew I wanted to work with them. They were very attentive to detail, immediately responsive to any questions, and made sure we had everything ironed out prior to the project. When it came time for the work to be done, the job was completed exactly as we had discussed, the crew was friendly, and they left the job site in pristine condition. They did the siding, soffit, gutters, garage doors, and post wraps- each aspect was done perfectly and the end result is beautiful. I was very impressed and cannot recommend them enough!

I have used Carlson twice for roof repairs and have been impressed by their work both times. They respond quickly to inquiries, give an honest estimate [it won't be the cheapest but you definitely get what you pay for], and get the work done in a timely manner. For one of my repairs it was a tricky valley waterproofing. I have not had a leak since.

We had Carlson replace our garage door, upgrade our porch columns, gutters, soffits, fascia and side our house.

They were very professional. They completed the project in a timely manner and returned our phone calls promptly.

Super quick to respond to online inquiry regarding an estimate to replace the cedar shakes on our gazebo. Project manager was out within a day and received the estimate same day as visit. High quality work completed on time and on budget, the area was left very clean. Will definitely contact Carlson for future needs.

During the last ice storm we had our vinyl siding sustained damage. I called several different companies for quotes and many made it seem like our "issue" wasn't big enough for them to take on. Carlson Exteriors was prompt at returning my call for a quote and prompt at arriving to assess the damage. They were able to find siding that matched the existing that was put up in 1990 and made the process hassle free. Installation took half a day and the installer was good at his job. Fixed the siding to were you couldn't tell where the new siding pieces were.

Had new gutters and leave guards installed. What a great experience from Kristina doing the estimate to the workers being on time and clean up.
We feel the estimate was fair and the quality of materials and work were excellent. Their online site is easy to follow and introduces you to all the employees (gives you that personal touch feeling).

Carlson replaced some of my gutters and fascia damaged by a tree limb falling and a shingle that was also damaged. They were prompt in getting out to give me an estimate and very quick to respond and get the repair date set up! The work done was great and I had no issues! Would definitely recommend using them. Office staff was also thorough in responses and getting detailed quotes and bills sent!

Carlson's replaced the 30+ year old siding on our house and we couldn't be more pleased. They did the work during the three coldest weeks of the winter in February 2021, showing up on time every day even when we thought they might need to take the day off due to the extreme cold. Very professional and methodical. They always left the site each day well-weatherproofed against the cold and wet. The day they finished the siding, along came the gutter replacement team that same day. Would highly recommend to anyone needing siding replacement.

Fantastic job! Carlson's came out twice in 2020 and replaced siding, windows, and doors. I would recommend requesting Joe and his crew, but I'm sure all the crews would do a fantastic job. They don't just replace, they perform the work that should have been done during construction. Our house was built in 1992, during the peak of the housing boom in Bloominton-Normal, and I know from experience that houses normally weren't wrapped in Tyvek, and windows and doors were set in the openings, leveled and nailed in. Carlson's will wrap the house in Tyvek before siding, prep the window and door openings and seal them in so they are both water and air tight. They also installed new window casing that matched our new baseboards and they look gorgeous, no seems, no visible fastener holes. Joe's crew was very courteous, cleaned up the yard better than when they started, and worked through the cold, rain, and snow we were hit with right around Christmas. I could not recommend Carlson's Exteriors enough. You owe it to yourself and your home's value to give them a call.

I had only one callback from all of the carpenters I contacted, and that was from Carlson! They came out and gave me a bid. They told me it would be January, and that was fine! January came, they called, as promised, and two days later, my porch was enclosed! Great job by wonderful carpenters!

Carlson Exteriors replaced a nearly 30-year old skylight for us. We purchased our home from a family that did not do proper updates and we had a leaky skylight that suffered when it rained and condensation on most days. The "ideal" time to change a skylight is when you replace the roof. Unfortunately, the previous owners did not do this when they had the roof replaced. Carlson worked us into an already busy schedule and did a great job. They did a really nice job matching the shingles and I am happy to report that the new skylight and replaced roofing DOES NOT leak when we just had a downpour this week! Hallelujah! Highly recommend.

Carlson Exteriors replaced three windows in our home. We were pleased with the company from start to finish. The workers were efficient and considerate. We are very pleased with the way our new windows look inside and out, and best of all, we no longer have issues with draftiness that we had previously.
