Pro Connect Plumbing & Rooter

This review is mainly for Robert. I am very displeased with his service.



I've had two toilet leaks and one ceiling leak problems to fix. Pro-Connect Plumbing was dispatched by American Home Shield. He did a good job on the ceiling leak and one of the toilets (I will give him that).



The main issue I have with Pro-Connect is when Robert came back to my house for a recall because one of the toilets was still making a leaking sound. The toilet does not leak 24/7, it leaks sporadically throughout the day (which is why I recorded a video of water squirting under the fill valve on my phone). He said he cannot replace parts if it does not leak in front of his face (Ummm how am I supposed to control the time of the leaks...?)



I think he should have replaced the fill valve because the water keeps leaking out of it, but he replaced the flapper the first time he came. He told me I would have to pay 75 dollars if I want the fill valve replaced... ARE YOU KIDDING ME? if he had diagnosed the problem and replaced the parts correctly the first time, the toilet would not be leaking still!!!



He just cared about getting paid. He even told me he would replace the entire toilet, only I would have to pay out of pocket!!!

Robert seems to have gotten frustrated over the situation. He raised his tone of voice and displayed a rude demeanor. He definitely has an attitude problem.

He specifically said, "who is going to pay me? the insurance will not pay for it. I don't work for free." And there he went. My toilet is still leaking.



I had to reschedule all my plans for this day to wait for Pro-Connect only to waste a whole day with the toilet that is still leaking because he diagnosed it wrong the first time and won't own up to it.



I wish that I had control over which company American Home Shield sends over. I guess cheap hire means crappy service as well.

With so many 1 stars on Yelp, I would think the company would look into their problems, but I guess it does not matter to them as long as they get $$$ from home warranty companies.

I believe all the bad reviews of these guys are instances of "I'm angry so I am going to go online and let everyone know how bad it was". People rarely say "what a good experience, I need to go online and let everyone know how good these guys are". Well I had such an experience. After reviewing these guys (who my home warranty had selected to repair my slab leak) I was worried. So I took the day off work so oversee the work being performed and give my very pregnant fiance a break. Well Robert showed up on time, was was understanding of my problem, worked hard to fix it and all within my advised budget (as I said, very pregnant fiance, not much spare cash). He helped me find someone to do my carpet repair (who I was far less satisfied with, but you can't blame the plumber for other peoples poor work). Anyway, by the end I was very satisfied, all of my work was completed and I had promised Robert I would come online to write a positive review (since no one else would). I am only posting on sites that don't require I sign up, but I will post this review on every registry free site I can find.

In a word. . .TERRIBLE company and TERRIBLE service! Worst experience with a service company I have ever had!



Their technician missed two set appointments for service at our home, their office manager is rude and lacks simple customer service skills, when we complained that their technician was late, and that we were upset because we had waited over 10 hours for service, the Office Manager actually canceled our service because I asked for a discount.



If you value good honest service and a company with courteous employees DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

This is a family owned business and they are nothing by rude!! Horrible customer service, the Vice President (Charlene?) actually yelled at me on the phone when I called about their bill. Needless to say, I will NEVER consider calling them again for anything!

Ridiculous price and sloppy work.



Do yourself a favor, get a second quote.
