        COMFORTABLE~QUIET~HOMEY

        September 4 through 8, 2009 Our stay at the Islander on the Beach was just wonderful. The reservation desk staff~Very accommadating; quick with references & recommendations. Housekeeping Staff~Repair person attended to problem solve the air conditioner quickly. House cleaner morning of 9/5/09 was somewhat rude but the others around the area made up for her rudeness. Pool Bartender ~Awesome!!! Pool & jacuzzi was very relaxing. The room was beautiful; the owners took pride in choices of bedding.



        The only thing I would change is to allow the hotel to be more accommadating to ADA/Handi-capped guest. The shower in 101 main building was just terrific. That topped off my stay. I would definately tell all my friends and family to stay @ this beautiful and friendly hotel. Mahalo Kuuleilani

        Nice place, but misleading

        I booked 5 months in advance for an "Oceanfront Room." The room I got is the second room from the end in a unit which is perpendicular to the oceanfront. They insist it's "oceanfront." Beware, if they say it's "oceanfront, it's not necessarily so.
