Al's Pizza

Best pizza, I'm originally from NYC suburbs. My daughter has had me try almost every pizza joint in town, not to my liking, good as an occasional choice but I always go back to AL's since I moved to Jacksonville 26 years ago.

My folks took us to Al's when we first moved here 17 years ago. We enjoyed our meals so much, we've been coming back ever since. Their pizzas, pastas and meatballs bring back wonderful memories of those we enjoyed in my Italian grandmother's kitchen. His staff is friendly, helpful, and strives to insure you have everything you need. If something is not right, they'll fix it or replace it. Need an Italian food fix? We enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. We recently moved closer to the San Pablo location from Atlantic Beach. We used to go the Neptune Beach location. We have found the pizza to be of better quality at the San Pablo store!

I go to Als off and on for the lunch special I was very disappointed they raised the pricing so I don't go as often as I did For 5.99 they offer 2 slices of cheese pizza and a large beverage, the pizza is always great, the cashiers pleasant. I just wish they would lower the price soon so I could visit more often. I had heard the owner though before he was :giving it away: but he wasn't. There are many places around here where you can get an entire pizza for $6. But you should try it and make up your own mind

My family and I have been going there since my children were babies now 24 and 26. Delicious pizza... the white pizza is my favorite!
