Tax City

I went back to Tax City this year in hopes that I would be working with the lady from the previous year. I worked with a young man by the name of Jesse Julian. He answered my calls and was helpful. After I received my refund I wanted to go back and amend it for my school credit but I needed a copy of my tax returns which he never gave me. I didn't think it was a big deal because the IRS had not officially "opened" them yet. I began calling the office and no one answered. This went on for days. I went up to the office and no one was there. I called Jesse's personal cell and got no answer. I texted, no answer. The card he gave me was a Emory University card indicating he was a law student. I emailed him. It came back rejected. I am faxing the IRS form 14157 for Preparer's Misconduct. These people are disgusting. I will be doing my own taxes next year.

I agree. They charged me 698.00 and messed up my taxes. I am in the process of reporting the owner Cyrus to the IRS. I was told that they mostly dwal with people who don't work. They hook them up so they don't care about the charges and fees. I had all w2 forms and was legit. I was also referred. I will never go back and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Very unprofessional! The owner is going to end up in jail!

Do not get your taxes done here unless you are not working and are looking for someone to do some underhanded stuff to get you back a nice refund check. The service is horrible. As a matter of fact the friend who referred me to them stopped giving them her business. I asked them about their fees, the rude female whom I spoke with said that their fee was $570, $30 for bank fees, and $52 for other fees. I said what are "other" fees? She said she didn't know. I asked her to ask the female in charge (Cassandra) what the charges are for and her ghetto self shouted from the background " I don't know, tell her she can come pick up her forms tomorrow. I brought my T- 98 form back in after I filed my taxes so they could amend them and send the correct forms off. So the forms she was talking about are the amendments they typically send off. I asked why was I coming to pick them up. She said that they did not have any envelopes nor stamps!!! I was going to have to send them off myself. They she got smart with me and hung up. I should know better than to do business with anyone located on Columbia Drive and a business that moves every single year at that. You charge me almost $600 and you all don't have envelopes and stamps? The office is run down and smells like moth balls. Disgusted by everything. Will never ever do business with them again!
