OH MY GOD! I wish there was an option to give NO STARS because today (3/1/2014) I had the worst experience of MY LIFE!



I am an afro-latina with thick coarse natural hair. I read a review on here about someone taking their daughter who had "nappy" hair & they said wonderful things about this salon so I decided to give it a try. What a BIG mistake that was!



All was fine until they washed my hair & discovered that my hair was coarse & "nappy". It was at that point that all of the hair dressers began to make fun of me for 2 straight hours because of the texture of my hair. THEY TOLD ME NOT TO COME BACK UNLESS I GET A PERM!



They didn't even bother roller setting my hair (which is what I came for) and just stuck me under the dryer. After the dryer shut off I sat there for HALF AN HOUR while there were many empty seats & all I hear is all of the hairdressers in the back room debating who should have to do my hair. Two clients that came after me (who had permed hair) went ahead of me while I was still at the hooded dryer waiting for someone to finish my hair.

Finally after half an hour a women points me to a chair & begins doing my hair. Right off the bat she was extremely rough, burned me every second and the whole time had the "I'm disgusted" look on her face. Absolutely horrible!



I cried when I left the salon, & as I was leaving, one of the hair dressers said to her co-worker "don't worry, this the first & last time we'll be seeing her."



I'm not gonna change my natural hair regardless, but it still hurt to have a room full of Dominican hair dressers (some that were of African descent) be completely ruthless & ignorant to natural hair.
