Don't use this Parcel Post Plus unless you want to be cheated and lied to! Mark, the new owner, was friendly when I needed to set up a mailbox from out of town. He charged my credit card $177.96 for 15 months and said we could sign papers when I came back to town. I realized before I got back that I didn't actually need the box. I expected to pay something for his trouble setting it up, and he agreed that if his "partners" (I'm not sure they exist) agreed, he would refund me $138.50. I was fine with that. I called him 2 days later, and he said he hadn't had time to talk to them. I called again 5 days later, and he promised to refund the money that day and e-mail me when it was done. Neither happened. I sent a polite but firm e-mail yesterday, giving Mark 24-hours to enact the refund, after which I would contact the Better Business Bureau and write negative reviews. The refund has not been made. I read other reviews of dissatisfied customers who had gone to the Better Business Bureau, but he had declined to respond.

The current owner, Mark, took $198.00 from me to mail a framed collage to Minnesota. It arrived late and broken with very little packing around it. He said he insured the package for $100, but he doesn't seem to have any paperwork or responsibility for the item to have arrived broken. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and they have tried to contact him but he doesn't respond. Nice to know our business owners don't give a #^&*.

Parcel Post Plus was a well run operation a few years ago. Then those owners closed the business and it was re-opened by another gentleman. The quality of service there has dropped significantly. When one is shopping for the best combination of speed and cost, the ladies who formerly ran the store would tell me all my options. The current guy there announces one cost and will not tell how long it will take for an item to be delivered. Then he will not give a breakdown of costs. Finally, he seems to not understand the need to work with one customer at a time. Yesterday with the customer before me he kept the man and harangued him about how a rock group is related to another town. When he finally got to me, he asked if I would waith while he dealt with somebody who had a long order before he waited on me. After politely listening to the detailed lengthy conversation with the customer before me, I just looked at him quizzically and he finally understood the answer was no. I wanted a facility that would compare Fedex, USPS, and UPS for me rather than going to a place designated for only one of those services. Postal Plus once filled the bill. I will be checking out the Mail Bank today. Postal Plus does not provide the skill and service I need. On the plus, though I cannot figure out how the owner comes up with costs he charges me, he does mail packages after he accepts money and inspite of his odd quirks not sharing information or waiting on people in a sequential order, when he does have a package in hand, he do0es seem to want to get the package delivered in the quickest safest way possible.
