Tee-Jay Thai Sushi

Tee-Jay Thai Sushi in Fort Lauderdale for myself and a friend. Tomas was our server. I thought this place was in Wilton Manors, but the receipt said Fort Lauderdale, so Fort Lauderdale it is.

Quickly seated, we ordered a bottle of Kurosawa sake. Medium bodied and earthy, yet smooth. Only one bottle, though, as we quickly switched to a Snow Beauty sake. A pleasant fragrance - sort of like freshly steamed rice - it was velvety in texture. Two bottles total with the Snow Beauty.

As for dinner, we ordered a Red Dragon Roll with extra cheese and the Massaman Curry with Shrimp. Tasty meals - we ended up splitting the meals. Rich in flavor while mild in spice, I enjoyed the curry plate more than the sushi roll.

Tomas frequented our table and maintained established (current) safety protocols. Masked and ready - we had no issue with the service, although a bit more limited then usual.

Parking is tight, but a visit to what is known as Tee-Jay Sushi "South" is worth the trip if you enjoy Thai and Japanese with Asian decorative touches.
